Mabud, Mohammed A.
The central purpose of this paper is to highlight the scientific nature of a basic research in any branches of knowledge. In order to make research really scientific, the researcher needs to religiously follow certain procedures starting from sample selection and data collection down to data analysis and report writing, followed by dissemination of findings for public consumption. The procedures envisaged in this paper are commonly followed by scientists across various fields of study. The paper also emphasizes that in scientific research, common sense and intuition have no place vis-a-vis divine knowledge and experiment. In order to guide the analyses of the data, scientist must bear in mind the unit and focus of his study.

Stitches and seams are two important elements of jute bag construction. Stitches are used to join the materials and hold the product together, and seams give the shape/contour and detail of the product.
ad These two elements together with the material properties contribute to the quality of the product. Seam quality, in our research, is affected by various fabric mechanical properties under a combination of their jessewing parameters. Previously a lot of research has been done on identifying the parameters that influencing seam quality by looking into correlation between fabric properties and sewing parameters. The purpose of the current study is to investigate the performance of seam quality in terms of seam appearance and strength constructed with different sewing parameters on jute fabric. In this work, it has nd concluded that the usage ofhicker threads has not always given better strength and the seam appearance as also poor. It was found that a combination offiner thread with moderate strength and a medium level of stitch density according to fabric weight category provided an effective result for both seam appearance and strength. The principal was that the prediction equations developed conclusion possible to be used and gave a strong validation between experimental and predicted results when the new fabric properties were within one standard deviation.

Due to rapid growth industrialization and population, the demand for energy and production of non-bio degradable waste increasing at a very high rate in Bangladesh. Maximum demand for energy is fulfilled by fossil fuel which is harmful to the environment and will no longer be available at future. To overcome the energy crisis as well as manage the solid wastes pyrolysis can be an alternative solution. A proposal has comforted as solution to produce alternative fuel from pyrolysis of non-bio gradable solid waste materials. Solid medical waste is one of the most common types of wastes. Every year a tonne ofsolid medical waste is produced which is vežy threateningfor the ecosystem. However, it is a very high-quality bio-mass source and available at very low cost. To extract fuel from the waste a fixed bed type mini pyrolysis reactor is designed and constructed. After extracting fuel, quality and quantity of the fuel are measured and compared with a pyrolytic oil obtained from tire waste. The physical properties of the pyrolytic oils were found to be very close to diesel and gasoline.

Being a Fashion designer is not so easy task. For doing an effective fashion design one he or she must have formal education, good knowledge and systematic working procedure to become a successful fashion designer. To become a fashion designer must have a combination of drawing, sewing, and design skills, a knowledge of the clothing industry and aesthetics sense, unparalleled diligence and enthusiasm. Successful fashion designers must have a wide setting of skills, including sketching, drawing, an eye of color sense and texture matter, an ability to visualize concepts on three dimensions human form, and the machine related skills involved in sewing and cutting all types of fabrics and textile knowledge as well as sample making.in this paper we will tried to give a step by step direction of doing fashion designing to the young fashion designers and also the fashion students. Wherein they can make a successful fashion design collection and contribute their fashion knowledge in the Bangladeshi Ready Made Garment (PMG) industries.
