Design & Construction Of Automatic Wood Cutter

Abstract

A sawmill or lumber mill is a facility where logs are cut into lumber. Modern sawmills use a motorized saw too cut logs lengthwise to make long pieces, and crosswise too length depending on standard or custom sizes (dimensional lumber). The "portable" sawmill is iconic and of simple operation the logs lay flat on a steel bed and the motorized saw cuts the log horizontally along the length of the bed, by the operator manually pushing the saw then it cut the wood . In this theory we made a microcontroller based wood cutting machine, here we add automatic system and cut the wood a minimum size . In this system we add some electric machine and electric component. Some of the parts need control from microcontroller . Here we use dc motor ,blade ,relay, switch, servo motor,push button and leaser module.In this process a convener belt move and carry the wood then microcontroller on the relay module and motor of blade move, in other part wood can predefine how long size wood will cutting it measurement cant fixed by leaser module,after cutting the wood convener belt will go same away and he do same work . So all will be control from microcontroller Arduino .
