    Abstract
    The purpose of traffic engineering is to ensure the safe, convenient, and time-efficient movement of people and products on roadways. Traffic parameters control the flow of people and products. A traffic flow's volume, speed, and density are the three most important variables. Research on Dhaka's roadway from Russell Square to Panthapath Signal in terms of traffic speed is being conducted. The number of vehicles has increased significantly in the last decade due to the increase in the economic condition of people. Estimating traffic volume is necessary for road planning and construction. Volume data are needed in the research, planning, designing, and regulation phases of traffic engineering and are also used in establishing priorities and schedules of traffic improvements.
