As the distribution network has become more sophisticated, substation automation has become a requirement for every utility firm. It is vital to understand what type of constraint has occurred to improve the quality of electricity. Furthermore, if a power system's safety, monitoring, and control are insufficient. As a result, a monitoring system that can automatically discover, monitor, and classify existing electrical line restrictions is required. The goal of this project is to collect remote electrical data such as the current, and the power station, and deliver these real-time values across the network. This project also includes a relay that will protect the electrical circuits. When the electrical parameters surpass the predefined values, this relay is actuated. This system can update real-time electrical parameters regularly (depending on time settings). This system can be set up to transmit alerts whenever the relay trip current exceeds predetermined limitations. This project uses a microcontroller; however, because this is a prototype of the proposed concept, we have used an Arduino Uno for demonstration purposes. The controller can communicate with the computer promptly. When we turn on the power to our prototype, all of the sensors begin sensing current and sending real-time information to the server and onto the display. It compares all real-time values to pre-defined values and sends a fault alarm to the relay and buzzer, as well as updates the display if any of the values exceed the pre-defined values. Relay isolates the loads from the rest of the system if the problem persists for the pre determined time. Meanwhile, the comparison continues as before, and if the fault is cleared, the loads are reconnected to the rest of the system via relays.en_US
