This abstract presents an overview of the operation of a 33/11 kV substation integrated with advanced protection and monitoring systems, with a focus on temperature and humidity monitoring. The substation serves as a crucial link in the power distribution network, receiving power at 33 kV and stepping it down to 11 kV for distribution to various feeders. The protection system encompasses overcurrent protection, earth fault protection, differential protection, and distance protection, ensuring rapid detection and isolation of faults to maintain system reliability. Additionally, the monitoring system, including Microcontroller, meters, and Temperature monitoring for transformers, provides real-time data on voltage, current, temperature, humidity, and gas levels. Temperature and humidity monitoring play a vital role in safeguarding critical equipment against overheating and moisture-related issues, thereby enhancing operational efficiency and equipment lifespan. The integration of digital sensors and automated alerts facilitates proactive maintenance and fault prevention strategies. This abstract highlights the importance of comprehensive protection and monitoring systems in ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of 33/11 kV substations in modern power infrastructure.en_US
