The Horizontal Reciprocating Sand Sieving Machine is designed to address the
challenges of manual sand sieving in construction, improving efficiency and accuracy
in separating fine particles from aggregates. This machine features a robust frame with
dimensions of 450 mm (L) x 305 mm (W) x 40 mm (H), fabricated from mild steel
square tubes (40 mm x 40 mm x 4 mm thickness), ensuring structural integrity and
vibration resistance. A reciprocating motion, generated by a motor crankshaft
assembly, drives the sieve bed, facilitating continuous sand separation. The design
incorporates key considerations such as material durability, ease of fabrication, and
minimizing operational wear, with components fabricated through standard machining
processes like cutting, welding, and assembly. Force and torque analyses, along with
power requirement calculations, ensure the machine's effective operation, achieving
precise separation with minimal energy consumption. The result is a cost-effective,
high-performance solution for sand sieving in construction applications, reducing labor
and increasing productivity.
