dc.description.abstract | A Computer Numerical Control (CNC) plotter machine is a computerized numerical control machine which can be used to draw anything or design any mechanical parts according to the design program. The utilization of CNC machine is increased rapidly due to the growth of technology in industries. The CNC XY plotter is required to plot two dimensional continuous or discontinuous data on a rectangular coordinate system. This project is done to fabricate a XY plotter using independent motion along x-direction and y-direction, and microcontroller system (Arduino) to control those motions. Implementation of this project is carried out through the computer linked with the Arduino software, to which the g-code is transmitted by the processing software. This paper represents an Arduino uno and motor driver IC based automatic technique for implementation of any text or image to its 2d plotted text or image by 2d plotter CNC machine. In this era the technology based on CNC machine increases. The fabrication of low-cost CNC machine is used to reduce cost and complexity of machine. The idea behind the project is how to make 2d plotter CNC machine faster and relatively lower cost than others. | en_US |
