Design & Construction of an Air Cooler Using Peltier Module

Abstract

This project focuses on the design and construction of an air cooler using a Peltier module, a thermoelectric device that utilizes the Peltier effect to transfer heat and create a cooling effect. The objective is to develop a compact, energy-efficient, and environmentally friendly cooling solution suitable for small spaces or electronics. The system works by using a Peltier module to absorb heat from the cold side and expel it from the hot side, with the help of heat sinks and fans for optimal heat dissipation. The cooler can be used for personal comfort or electronic cooling, offering an alternative to traditional refrigerant-based cooling systems. The project explores the practical applications of Peltier modules, including their potential for enhancing thermal management in electronic devices and small-room cooling. Key design considerations include efficient heat management, proper insulation, and airflow optimization.
