The design and implementation of an IoT-based irrigation system with a solar tracker focus on enhancing the efficiency and sustainability of agricultural practices by integrating advanced technology and renewable energy sources. This system employs an array of sensors to continuously monitor critical parameters such as sunlight intensity, providing real-time data for informed irrigation management. The incorporation of a solar tracker ensures optimal positioning of solar panels to maximize energy generation, enabling uninterrupted operation in remote or off-grid locations. Through IoT connectivity, the system offers remote monitoring and control via mobile or web platforms, allowing farmers to automate irrigation schedules, receive alerts, and analyze historical data for improved decision-making. This innovative approach significantly reduces water wastage and energy consumption, while the reliance on solar power minimizes environmental impact. The system’s scalability and adaptability make it a practical and sustainable solution for diverse agricultural settings, contributing to resource conservation and increased crop productivity.
