An Analysis of Loans & Advances of Rupali Bank Limited (Dhanmondi Branch)

Abstract

This report is prepared as requirement of MBA program. This report focuses three months working experiences in, Rupali Bank Limited, (Dhanmondi Branch), Dhaka. This report will give a clear idea about Loans & Advances of Rupali Bank Limited. The main object of the report is to know about the loan & advances and the procedure followed by the bank for sanctioning loan. This Bank tries to provide higher quality services in case of sanctioning the loans and advances. The information of the report has collected from secondary sources like books, published reports and website of the Rupali Bank Limited. It includes source of existing/published data, such as Operational manual, official website, Banking journals, Research papers and financial statement. After analyzing data, it was found that customers have chosen Rupali Bank Limited for its goodwill as state owned bank. But the loan sanctioning procedure is time consuming. That’s why bank is losing its valuable customers in loan and advance department. Therefore, Rupali Bank Limited should give more effort to make well establish market in the context of Bangladesh and be more flexible to disburse loan & advance.
