Abstract
This report, “Recruitment & Selection Process in Bangladesh: A Case Study on Bitopi Group”
provides a comprehensive analysis of the strategies and practices employed by Bitopi Group in
recruiting and selecting employees within the competitive business environment of Bangladesh.
The primary aim of this study is to explore how Bitopi Group’s recruitment and selection process
aligns with best practices in Human Resource Management and contributes to the organization's
success. Through this study, data was collected via interviews with HR personnel, review of
organizational documents, and relevant literature on recruitment and selection processes. The
analysis highlights the key steps Bitopi Group undertakes to attract and retain qualified candidates,
such as job analysis, advertising, screening, interviewing, and final selection. This report also
examines the effectiveness of these steps and the challenges the organization faces, such as
attracting the right talent in a highly competitive market and maintaining a fair selection process.
The findings reveal that Bitopi Group’s recruitment process is strategically designed to support the
company's objectives and enhance employee satisfaction. The organization emphasizes
transparency, merit-based selection, and alignment of candidates’ values with the company’s
culture. However, there are areas for potential improvement, such as further digitizing the hiring
process and incorporating advanced assessment tools. In conclusion, the study provides insights
into how effective recruitment and selection practices can strengthen an organization’s competitive
position and recommends ways for Bitopi Group to refine its approach further to address emerging
challenges in talent acquisition. This case study can serve as a valuable resource for other
