    Abstract
This internship report presents a detailed overview of the Human Resource Management (HRM) practices observed during my internship at JL Sweaters Limited, a prominent manufacturer in the knitwear industry. The internship, conducted over a period of [insert duration], provided hands-on experience in various HR functions and insight into the company’s people management strategies. JL Sweaters Limited has a structured HR department responsible for recruitment and selection, employee onboarding, training and development, performance evaluation, payroll management, and compliance with labor laws. During the internship, I had the opportunity to assist in several key areas, including maintaining employee records, supporting training sessions, and observing the recruitment and selection process. The company emphasizes employee welfare, skill development, and a safe working environment. Notable strengths include a collaborative work culture, clear communication channels, and active involvement in employee engagement programs. However, there are opportunities to improve in areas such as digital HR systems, more structured performance appraisal processes, and advanced training modules. This report outlines the tasks performed, skills gained, challenges encountered, and recommendations for further enhancement of HR operations at JL Sweaters Limited. Overall, the internship has been a valuable learning experience, enriching my understanding of practical HRM in a manufacturing setting.
