This thesis explores the training and development practices of Akasnil Limited, an e-commerce company aiming to enhance its workforce’s capabilities and align its operations with organizational objectives. The study focuses on identifying the current training needs, evaluating the effectiveness of existing programs, and suggesting improvements for future practices. The research reveals that Akas nil’s training programs are effective in enhancing employee skills and improving performance. However, certain gaps were identified, including the need for a more structured training needs assessment process, better integration of emerging technologies, and increased focus on soft skills training. Additionally, the company’s training evaluation methods were found to be insufficient in measuring long-term impact. Based on these findings, the thesis proposes several recommendations, including formalizing the training needs assessment process, expanding soft skills training programs, enhancing post-training evaluation methods, and providing training in digital tools and emerging technologies. The study concludes that improving training and development practices will support Akasnil in maintaining a competitive edge in the dynamic e-commerce sector.en_US
