dc.description.abstractStructural Design of a building is the responsibility of a civil engineer. In this project A Seven storied building situated in Dhaka zone was designed. this study has been performed following USD method. All the slabs are designed by ACI moment co-efficient methods and Bangladesh National Building Code. Here finite element analysis software ETABS is used to complete this project. Under the study, Design of Seven storied residential Building has been analyses by using the Software ETABS. At the early stage of this report we have shared some information about RCC Building materials. Calculation has been started by the assumption of load, i.e. Dead load, Live load. In case of Environmental loads, i.e. seismic load, wind load. Portal frame analysis has been performed here. The entire load has been factorized by the load factor and load combinations has been chosen from the BNBC/Bangladesh National Building Code.BNBC 2020 (Seismic zone co-efficient Z=0.20,Ct=0.0466) for Earthquake Load.BNBC 2020 (Wind speed = 65.7 mph) with respect to basic wind speeds using the software (ETABS). In beam design in case of moment calculation co-efficient has been used. Required steel has been calculated on the moment values in difference zones of the continuous beam. In terms of column design both concentric load and moment (due to lateral loading) has been considered by checking column strength interaction diagram. Some of the cases, values have been taken being in the conservative sides for ensuring more safety.en_US
