This project focuses on the design and implementation of a motor speed control system using Siemens automation components, including a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), Human Machine Interface (HMI), Variable Frequency Drive (VFD), induction motor, and rotary encoder. The primary objective is to achieve precise and flexible control of motor RPM to simulate real-world industrial applications. The system allows users to input desired speed values through the HMI, which are processed by the PLC to control the VFD accordingly. The rotary encoder provides real-time feedback on the actual motor speed, enabling closed-loop control and ensuring accuracy. This training project serves as a practical platform for understanding industrial automation concepts, PLC programming, and motor control techniques. It equips trainees with the skills necessary for handling automation tasks in manufacturing and process industriesen_US
