The Automatic Whiteboard Cleaning System is an innovative solution aimed at automating the process of cleaning whiteboards in classrooms, offices, and meeting spaces. This system eliminates the need for manual erasing by using a motorized cleaning mechanism controlled by a microcontroller. It consists of an Arduino-based control unit, two DC gear motors, IR sensors, a motor driver module, and a user interface with buttons and an LCD display. The cleaning roller moves across the whiteboard using a belt-driven mechanism, powered by the motors and guided by limit sensors to detect end positions. The system supports both manual and automatic modes, allowing users to initiate cleaning with the press of a button or let the system perform full-cycle cleaning autonomously. Powered by a dual-voltage power supply, the design ensures safe operation of both logic and motor components. This project demonstrates an effective use of embedded systems and electromechanical design to improve convenience and efficiency in everyday environments.
