dc.description.abstractThis dissertation looks at the Environmental Sustainability of the Street Dustbins of Dhaka City. It tries to find out the initiatives that have been taken by the Government of Bangladesh by enacting laws and, how far ‘law enforcing bodies’ are strengthened to enforce these laws, for the elimination of “Street Dustbin in Dhaka City: Its effect on Environmental Sustainability”. It also tries to find out the approaches of the nongovernmental organizations to raise voice against the is use of the dustbin system. It also discusses about some gaps of laws which are involved. The dissertation contends that violence needs to be redefined. It concludes with some suggestions on how government and society might alleviate the problem of “Street Dustbin in Dhaka City: Its effect on Environmental Sustainability”. This dissertation, however, is prepared on the basis of different reports and works of non governmental bodies in relating to ‘dustbin system and by making criticism of various Statues of Bangladesh.en_US
