'Environmental Pollution in Dhaka city: A study of Current Situation and Positives Reforms.

Abstract

With very fast moving process of Urbanization and Industrialization, the Mega-Capital city of Bangladesh, Dhaka has become and is still becoming very much vulnerable to vast environmental pollution. Though this overall global environment is declining fast in Bangladesh as well as in the whole world, in Dhaka City it has been doing more rapidly during last few decades because of many obvious reasons.

In this Term Paper the Environment Pollution in Dhaka City such as Air Pollution, Soil Pollution, Water Pollution, Noise Pollution, Radiation Pollution are discussed. The impact of this pollution has also been illustrated in brief. How to prevent or positive reforms, control and preserve environment of Dhaka are also suggested here. Finally the findings of this research and recommendation to preserve environment of Dhaka are discussed with a view to improving the total environmental situation of the Dhaka City.
