Civil Justice System in Bangladesh

Abstract

In this paper, it is tried to make the civil justice system there is difference notions about what comprises the civil justice system. The Steering Committee for Government Service Provision includes a justice chapter in its annual Report on Government Services (ROGS) which portrays justice services as comprising police services, civil and criminal courts administration, and adult corrective services. This is a broader concept of the justice system than is envisaged in this framework. Nevertheless, the courts administration section which is presented in both the criminal and civil spheres provides important data on the civil justice system nationally.
