The rule of law and access to justice are essential to the growth and stability of a state. Because alternative dispute resolution (ADR) is a tried-and-true method of ensuring that everyone can access justice in a civilized manner without resorting to adversarial hearings in formal litigation, ADR programs are becoming more and more significant in almost every jurisdiction. Bangladesh is a prominent participant in these commendable initiatives. The societal perception and functioning of courts have been impacted by the movements for access to justice and alternative dispute resolution. Both movements have criticized the courts for their failure to provide accurate, significant, and accessible justice for the populace. ADR has also been highlighted as a tool for better dispute resolution procedures that lead to better results. In order to fully realize the potential of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) as a tool for granting access to justice, this paper seeks to identify the necessity of ADR and various forms of dispute resolution mechanisms, as well as the necessity of dispute resolution system design. This is an attempt to present a thorough understanding of the methods by which our legal system allows people to access justice. It does this by examining the theory and practice of access to justice, as well as the court and non-court based applications of those modalities under various laws in Bangladesh. This demonstrates the efficacy, efficiency, and fairness of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) in advancing access to justice. Lastly, it talks about how Bangladesh has implemented reforms in alternative dispute resolution (ADR), which are a well liked aspect of justice access.en_US
