dc.description.abstract | Child labour is widespread throughout the glove. Bangladesh is another victim of child
labour. It damages children's health and general welfare. It creates a major obstacle to
developed countries' growth. Children who work can easily drop out of school and
increase the rate of illiteracy and nonproductive human. They create a vicious circle of
poverty. And they work as an impediment to developing the countries economy. The
international conventions like the International Labour Organization (ILO), United
Nations Convention on the Rights of the child (UNCRC), and The Universal Declaration
of Human Rights (UDHR) are addressed the child labour problem and they are trying to
eliminate child labour from the glove. One of the major goals of Sustainable development
goals (SDG) and Millennium development goals was to eradicate child labour from every
country. This study tries to find the major anomalies to eradicate child labour from
Bangladesh. To find out the reason why existing laws are not working properly to
eradicate child labour. For this problem, what measures should be taken by the
government to eradicate child labour from Bangladesh, is also discussed. | en_US |
