have no recourse with the seller if the product does not meet their expectations. Caveat emptor
was the rule for many purchases and land sales before the commercial Revolution, though sellers
assume for more responsibility for the integrity of their product within the gift day. Individuals
consumed so much fewer products and frequently from native sources before the eighteenth
Century, leading to only a few client protection laws (mostly restricted to weights and measures).

pursuing business grievances. In Bangladesh, consumer protection line is described as a body of

goods and services.
Consumers in Bangladesh are severely underserved in terms of their rights. As a result,
safeguarding consumer rights in Bangladesh is critical, as consumer demands and preferences
have shifted as a result of globalization and increased awareness. This study looks at the process
of consumer protection in Bangladesh and investigates the various consumer protection acts and
laws in the country, as well as the gap between law and reality in this area. It also outlines the
different steps that can be taken to educate customers about their rights and policies.
Furthermore, this study suggests that government agencies and other bodies work hard to
implement some mechanism to raise consumer consciousness about the Consumer Protection
