dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this study is to find the role of Green Supply Chain Management (GSCM) Practice in Bangladesh : a case study on Mahir Agro Industries Limited (MAIL) . This study attempts to fill up the gap of insufficient empirical studies, lack of theoretical framework and research based work to be used by the industry participants. Supply chain management is a major concern in many industries as companies realize the importance of creating an integrated relationship with their suppliers and customers. Managing the supply chain has become a way of improving competitiveness by reducing uncertainty and improving service. One aspect of successfully managing the supply chain requires that a company understand their logistical strategies and practices. Agro industry has a great impacts on our economy. For this reason, Agro products and supply chain management practices should be updated and systemized to smooth this broaden industry. As an thesis program, I have chosen supply chain management practices in agro industry: A case study on Index Agro Industries Limited. This industry produces poultry feed, fish-feed, and Day-Old Chicks (broiler & layer). I have performed 03 months thesis in this organization and observed productive procedure and its supply chain management.en_US
