Bangladesh: A Case Study on Sweater Industries Limited . The sweater industry in Bangladesh
holds a pivotal role in the nation's economy, serving as a cornerstone for employment generation,
export earnings, and industrial development. This case study provides a comprehensive analysis of
the industry's contribution to Bangladesh's economic landscape, drawing on a combination of
qualitative and quantitative research methods.
Through an exploration of supply chain dynamics, export trends, employment patterns, and
regulatory frameworks, the study examines the factors shaping the sweater industry's role in
Bangladesh's economy. It delves into the industry's historical evolution, its current status as a global
player in the garment sector, and the challenges and opportunities it faces in an increasingly
competitive marketplace.
Key findings highlight the industry's significant contribution to GDP growth, foreign exchange
