“General Banking Activities of Janata Bank PLC” A study on Rajanigandha Corporate Branch

Abstract

As a mandatory requirement to complete Masters Business Administration (MBA) Program at Sonargaon University, this report has been prepared. Throughout my overall study I have mainly tried to critically review the General Banking activities of Janata Bank Limited. This report is aimed at providing different areas of branch activities related to general banking .The report has been divided into Six parts. The first chapter is the introduction part which includes Origin of the Report, Limitation of the Report, Objectives of the Study and Methodology of the study The second Chapter gives an overview on Beginning of Banking in Bangladesh, Nationalization of Banks in Bangladesh, Profile of Janata Bank Limited, Corporate Information, Awards and Achievements, Management, Vision and Mission. The third Chapter includes Personalized Service, Deposit schemes section, Utility Service, One Stop Service, Online and ATM Service, Financing on Export, Facilitating Import, Financing on SME‟s and Foreign Remittance Service. The forth Chapter contains Lesson learned from Thesis program, Limitations and Challenges and SWOT analysis Lastly Chapter five represents the major Findings, Recommendations and Conclusion part
