    Abstract
    Floods are among the most devastating natural disasters, causing widespread destruction to property, infrastructure, and human lives. Rapid response and efficient resource allocation are critical for mitigating their impact. SentryLeaf proposes an innovative rescue network that leverages Internet of Things (IoT) technology to enhance disaster management in flood-affected areas. The system integrates a network of IoT-enabled devices, including sensors, and communication modules, to monitor flood conditions in real time. These devices collect data on water levels, flow rates, and environmental parameters, which are transmitted to a centralized control system via low-power, high-range communication protocols. This information is used to generate accurate flood models, predict the spread of water, and identify high-risk zones. SentryLeaf also facilitates coordination between rescue teams through a mesh network of connected devices, ensuring seamless communication even in areas where traditional networks are disrupted. Additionally, IoT-enabled rescue nodes provide real-time updates, enabling targeted aid delivery, efficient evacuation planning, and resource optimization. The system is designed to be scalable, cost-effective, and deployable in both urban and remote regions. The adoption of SentryLeaf's IoT-based approach has the potential to revolutionize flood response efforts, saving lives and minimizing damage by providing actionable insights and ensuring timely intervention.
