    Abstract
The increasing demand for digital transformation in the real estate sector has led to the emergence of innovative solutions aimed at streamlining the rental process. Smart ToLet is a digital platform designed to address the challenges faced by both landlords and tenants in Bangladesh, providing an efficient, secure, and user-friendly solution to house rentals. This platform eliminates intermediaries, reduces operational costs, and ensures transparency in rental transactions. Built with Python (version 3.6 or higher) and the Django web framework, Smart ToLet offers a robust backend architecture capable of seamlessly handling complex operations. Communication between the backend and client applications is facilitated through RESTful APIs, developed using the Django Rest Framework (DRF). Core functionalities, such as property management and user operations, are implemented following CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) principles, ensuring flexibility and ease of use. Security is a key priority, with measures such as CSRF protection in place to safeguard user interactions. The platform's frontend, designed with HTML and CSS, provides an intuitive and visually appealing user interface, while a strong focus on user experience (UX) ensures accessibility for a diverse range of users. In addition to the web platform, an Android application, distributed as an APK, extends the service's reach, enabling users to access the platform on the go. Data management is handled through SQL-based SQLite3, ensuring reliable data storage during development. By digitizing the house rental process, Smart ToLet bridges the gap between traditional methods and modern technology, offering a legally compliant, scalable, and comprehensive solution that redefines house rental management in Bangladesh.
