Design and Implementation of Rescue Alert Services for Mob-Justice

Abstract

In regions like Bangladesh, mob justice incidents and other emergencies significantly threaten public safety. Despite the existence of the 999 emergency calling system, it faces limitations in automatically determining caller locations, often leading to delayed responses. This study focuses on the design and implementation of a "Rescue Alert Services with Mob-Justice Information" framework, integrating the 999 system with advanced features to address such challenges effectively. The proposed solution utilizes Location-Based Services (LBS) to enable real-time reporting of mob justice incidents and other critical cases. The system includes a web-based platform where users can report emergencies by selecting specific incident types, with geolocation and caller details sent automatically to the 999 system and relevant response teams. This integration ensures that rescue or law enforcement units receive precise navigation instructions, improving response efficiency.To reduce false or prank reports, the platform leverages unique user identifiers such as phone numbers and GPS coordinates, encouraging accountability. Additionally, the system offers statistical reporting and analytics to help authorities monitor trends, allocate resources effectively, and improve public safety measures. By combining the capabilities of the 999 system with an enhanced digital platform, this framework aims to streamline emergency response, mitigate mob justice, and ensure faster and more accurate rescue operations.
