Non-Performing Loan and Recovery Strategies of Commercial Bank A Case study of Prime Bank Limited
Abstract
In this report, Non-Performing Loan and Recovery Strategies of Commercial Bank a Case
study of Prime Bank Limited has been analyzed. This report has been prepared on the basis of
Prime Bank Limited. Prime Bank Limited was examined on how it manages its growth and
what is the current situation of non-performing loan in terms of financial condition. Maximal of
the data used in this report are secondary data mostly collected from annual financial reports and
partial data has been used primary data. Financial ratios, graphical representation of the ratios
and regression analysis in the report was done using Microsoft Excel 2013.
The First chapter, I have given the introduction of non-performing loans, primary objective is
to assess the current situation of non-performing loan, Scope of the organization, Methodology
of report of the study that I have used to gather information and finally the limitations that I have
faced while working on my report.
The Second chapter, I have tried to discuss a brief discuss Literature Review of non-Performing
loan.
The Third chapter, I have tried to discuss a brief discuss of the Overview of Prime Bank
Limited. The main Objective to the Prime Bank in financial sector.
The Fourth chapter, this chapter of the report is this starting point of my topic non-performing
loan and recovery strategies. Here I include the information‟s that carries out the NPL. I will try
to all over activities of NPL of Prime Bank Limited.
The Fifth chapter, I show some findings, recommendation and conclusion of the Prime Bank
Limited.
It has not been able to attain the industry average gross profit, operating profit return on
investment return on capital employed and return on equity. But it has succeeded to attain the
standard norm for these ratios. Therefor its total 16 ratios were analyzed. Then the next
analyzing of non-performing loan. In the following chapter some recommendation and
conclusion has been discussed.
