    Abstract
The automotive sector in Bangladesh is growing steadily, yet its supply chain management practices face numerous challenges that impact efficiency and competitiveness. This study, titled “Supply Chain Management Practices in Bangladesh: A Case Study on the Automotive Sector,” delves into the key elements of supply chain operations within the industry, focusing on procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution. Through a combination of primary data from industry stakeholders and secondary data from relevant reports, the research explores how local market dynamics, infrastructure limitations, and government policies influence the automotive supply chain. The study highlights critical pain points, such as dependency on imports, inadequate logistics infrastructure, and a lack of advanced technology adoption, which collectively hinder seamless operations. At the same time, the research identifies opportunities for improvement, including adopting modern supply chain technologies, fostering stronger collaborations between stakeholders, and developing localized manufacturing capabilities. The findings aim to provide actionable insights for automotive companies, policymakers, and academics interested in strengthening supply chain efficiency in Bangladesh. By addressing the unique challenges of this developing market, this research hopes to contribute to the broader conversation on sustainable and innovative supply chain practices.
