is required by standards, regulations, and quality improvement initiatives. Defining
and managing requirements is one of the most important challenges in IT and
software development projects. Organizations must ensure that their systems meet
customer needs, provide compliance, and stay on schedule and within budget. Poorly
expressed requirements can create inefficiencies and lead to failure, while a welldefined
system ensures long-term success and efficiency.
The Design and Implementation of a Hotel Management System (HMS) has been
undertaken as a project using modern web technologies such as PHP, HTML, CSS,
JavaScript, and MySQL. The main aim of this project is to develop a web-based
system that simplifies hotel operations like room booking, guest registration, billing,
and reporting. This system has been developed to carry out hotel processes quickly
and efficiently, replacing the limitations of manual systems. By automating routine
tasks, the system ensures accuracy, saves time, and enhances guest satisfaction. Hence,
it provides a complete solution for managing hotel operations in a reliable and userfriendly
