    Abstract
Financial institutions like banks, play a pivotal role in providing a comprehensive range of economic services, including cash collection, loan issuance, and payment solutions. Within the financial landscape of Bangladesh, the banking sector holds significant influence and impact. Banks, recognizing the evolving needs of the market, have diversified their activities by establishing new subsidiaries offering additional services or through strategic collaborations with various financial institutions. My internship experience provided valuable insights into the practical realities of financial organizations. Sonali Bank PLC, with its primary goal of playing a significant role in the nation's financial operations, has carved a distinctive position in the banking sector through a flexible service, creative practices, dynamic development, and efficient management. The initial chapter of this paper provide foundational information about banks and their activities. The preparatory phase encompasses the introduction, statement of the problem, objectives of the investigation, research technique, and limitations. The subsequent section investigates into the background of Sonali Bank PLC, specifically focusing on the krishi Bazar branch dhaka. The subsequent portions provide an overview of the entire bank, including its vision, purpose, and a comprehensive ratio analysis, visually represented through graphs and charts for enhanced understanding. The study concludes with several recommendations derived from the findings. In essence, the institution should transition from previous financial sector trends to embrace a more creative system, characterized by structural and technical growth, customer-centric practices with minimal hassles, reduced leverage, and enhanced efficiency in management. In recognizing the challenges, I have proposed solutions from my perspective to address these issues. The study's outcomes are extensively clarified in the subsequent chapters.
