dc.description.abstractThis internship report explores the credit risk management practices at Standard Chartered Bank. Credit risk management is critical for banks to maintain financial stability and meet regulatory requirements. The report includes an organizational overview of Standard Chartered, an explanation of credit risk, and the tools and techniques used to manage it. Additionally, it highlights the challenges faced in credit risk management and provides recommendations for improvement. Primary data from my internship and secondary data from reports and journals were used to prepare this report. Findings reveal that Standard Chartered employs robust policies and advanced tools but faces challenges like regulatory compliance and economic volatility. Recommendations include improving risk assessment models and leveraging technology to enhance efficiency.en_US
