Recognition of IFRS-15 on Revenue of Daraz Bangladesh Limited
Abstract
The report has been set up with a reason for giving an examination of general financial procedure and functional learning of general exercises of Daraz Bangladesh. Daraz Bangladesh is an e-commerce organization which gives convenient online shopping opportunity to its buyers and an online showroom to its sellers. The organization believes that the e-commerce segment in Bangladesh will blast in near future in view of technological progression and accessibility of web. That’s why it chose to get in early market of the business so it can pick up client’s validity and has the first mover advantage. Nevertheless, considering some critical components like the time of delivery, product quality, value creation and price which are identified with consumer experience are analyzed thoroughly in this report by gathering information from primary and secondary sources. The study is based on the data collected from personal interviews and practical work during my tenure with the stakeholders at the finance of Daraz Bangladesh Limited. An open-ended question has been designed for that research. The sampling unit covers 50 people combining both males and females who are Daraz’s employees, customers, and sellers. As the size of the population is significantly big, convenient sampling is done. I believe that this report will help those people who are willing to prepare a report on related fields. This will help the people to know about their expectations and demands from Daraz.
