    Abstract
This internship report explores the evolution of the Fintech industry in Bangladesh with a particular focus on POCKET, a growing digital financial service provider. Over the past decade, Bangladesh has experienced rapid growth in the adoption of mobile financial services (MFS) and digital payment solutions, driven by increasing internet penetration, smartphone usage, and consumer demand for faster, safer, and more convenient transactions. Within this competitive landscape, POCKET has emerged as a promising player, offering innovative solutions to enhance financial inclusion and transform the way people manage payments. The study follows a case study methodology, combining practical experience from the internship period with secondary data analysis. The report highlights POCKET’s business model, strategic initiatives, product offerings, and operational practices. Key areas of focus include customer acquisition strategies, agent network expansion, digital payment services, and the role of technology in ensuring security and efficiency. Findings indicate that POCKET has been leveraging strategic partnerships, customer-centric features, and localized service models to strengthen its market presence. Beyond presenting the company’s current practices, the report also identifies challenges such as market competition, regulatory compliance, and user awareness, while offering recommendations for future growth. The insights derived from this study not only reflect POCKET’s contribution to the Fintech landscape but also provide broader implications for understanding the opportunities and obstacles of digital financial services in emerging markets like Bangladesh.
