This thesis explores the impact of payment gateways on the development of a cashless Bangladesh, with a particular focus on Soft Tech Innovation Ltd (AamarPay), a Bangladesh Bank-licensed payment gateway. In recent years, Bangladesh has experienced a rapid shift towards digital transactions, driven by technological innovation, government initiatives for financial inclusion, and changing consumer behavior. As a prominent player in this digital finance ecosystem, AamarPay has contributed significantly to promoting safe, reliable, and efficient electronic payments across the country. The study employs a case study methodology, using both qualitative and quantitative data collection techniques. Through interviews with key stakeholders, analysis of transaction data, and examination of market trends, this research seeks to uncover the role of AamarPay in accelerating the adoption of cashless payments.
