As the energy demand and the environmental problems increase, the natural energy sources have become very important as an alternative to the conventional energy sources. The renewable energy sector is fast gaining ground as a new growth area for numerous countries with the vast potential it presents environmentally and economically. Solar energy plays an important role as a primary source of energy, especially for rural area. The project is divided into two stages, which are hardware and software development. In hardware development, a solar panel receive some charge from sun energy and store with the help of charge controller in a battery. Then battery will supply in the load after converting inverting this load DC to AC. The performance of the system has been tested and compared with static solar panel. The principle of this paper is to know the effects of harmonics in a power system and to minimise the effects of the power system harmonics. This distortion will result in low power quality and improved disturbances in power system. So this harmonic technique is used to improve the power quality. This improvement includes the simulation also.Inverter is used to transform a DC into AC, during this transformation; the harmonics will reduce the power quality a lot. The increase in power quality using a technique is explained in detail hereen_US
