    Abstract
The Smart Toll Management System is an advanced automated toll collection system designed to reduce traffic congestion, save time, and improve transportation efficiency. The system uses RFID technology to identify vehicles automatically at toll plazas without requiring vehicles to stop for manual payment. Each vehicle is equipped with an RFID tag that stores vehicle information, and the toll amount is deducted automatically according to the vehicle type. A GSM module is integrated into the system to send instant SMS notifications to vehicle owners after each transaction, ensuring transparency and preventing extra charges. The proposed system also includes a weight sensing mechanism to detect overloaded vehicles and prevent them from crossing bridges or highways, helping reduce the risk of accidents and structural damage. All transaction data is stored in a central database for monitoring and management purposes. Cashless payment and automated processing minimize human error, reduce corruption, and increase government revenue collection efficiency. This project provides a secure, reliable, and low-cost solution for modern toll management, especially suitable for Bangladesh and other developing countries. In addition, the system helps reduce fuel consumption, air pollution, and noise pollution caused by long waiting times at toll booths. The implementation of vehicle registration and RFID-based authentication also enhances security and supports anti theft monitoring. Overall, the Smart Toll Management System offers a fast, transparent, and user-friendly approach to intelligent transportation management.
