    Abstract
Protecting environment from various sources of pollution is imperative to ensure the sustainability of the earth. Water pollution has also become one of the significant issues due to increasing water-related activities such as transportation, fisheries, entertainment and many others. It threatens the well-being and prosperity of human and nature as well as the quality of water in the surrounding. Wastes which are thrown on water areas are the main causes of water pollution. It greatly impacts the life on water and the place it is surrounding. People going on water to collect wastes can sometimes be dangerous and risky for their health. This project helps clean and collects wastes on water areas by using a wireless controlled Robot prototype. This prototype which has a conveyor belt in front of it will collect the trash it encounters. The aim of this study is to collect the wastes on water without risking the health of a person. The present design of this prototype is to minimize human effort on manual picking of wastes. In this project we have fabricated the remote operated river cleaning machine. The main aim of the project is to reduce the man power, time consumption for cleaning the river. In this project we have automated the operation of river cleaning with help of a motor and chain drive arrangement. Some needs of automation are described below. Here using Arduino, motor driver and Bluetooth receiver are used to control the cleaning machine.
