dc.description.abstractThe aim of this project is to design an Automatic Motion Sensing Barrier Gate Control System with Automated Sirens and Signal System using an Arduino nano microcontroller. This mainly aims at preventing accidents at some level crossing where many accidents take place every day. This automatic railway gate controller makes use of one IR sensor placed at the gate placed at a particular distance. The sensor detects the arrival of the train and sends the signal to the micro-controller to close the gate, sirens automatically and after the train left gate will open automatically. When a train detects an IR sensor then a text will send to the gate-man's mobile phone by the use of a GSM module. If some obstacle comes in front of the train, then the train will be automatically slow. The usage of this automatic railway gate controller using a micro controller will largely reduce accidents at the unnamed level crossings and provide immense safety.en_US
