    Abstract
The Asharyan project is a large-scale infrastructure development initiative that aims to enhance the economic and social development of the region. However, the project has also raised concerns about its potential environmental impact, particularly with regards to air and water pollution, habitat destruction, and biodiversity loss. In this thesis book, we conducted an environmental impact assessment (EIA) of the Asharyan project to identify and evaluate the potential environmental risks and impacts associated with the project, and to propose mitigation measures to minimize or avoid these impacts. To accomplish this, we employed a multidisciplinary approach, integrating various environmental sciences, including ecology, hydrology, and atmospheric sciences. We conducted extensive fieldwork, including water and soil sampling, biodiversity surveys, and air quality monitoring, to collect data on the project's environmental conditions and potential impacts. We also conducted literature reviews and consulted with various stakeholders, including government officials, industry experts, and local communities, to gain a comprehensive understanding of the project's context, impacts, and potential solutions. Our findings revealed that the Asharyan project could potentially have significant negative impacts on the environment, including water and air pollution, habitat destruction, and biodiversity loss. However, we also identified several potential mitigation measures, including improved wastewater treatment, habitat restoration, and reforestation efforts, that could help to minimize these impacts. We also identified the need for improved environmental monitoring and management practices, as well as greater public participation and awareness, to ensure the sustainable development of the region. Overall, this thesis book provides a comprehensive analysis of the potential environmental impacts of the Asharyan project and proposes a range of mitigation measures and management strategies to minimize or avoid these impacts. Our work contributes to the growing body of knowledge on environmental impact assessment and sustainable development, and provides important insights for policymakers, practitioners, and stakeholders in the field
