dc.description.abstractThe export oriented ready-made garntents (RMG) indtrstry of Bangladesh occupied a large portion of Baigladesh economy. It is the second largestforeigt cut'rency earnings sector of Bangladesh. Ho.nrnr, labor disputes becotne a common phenomenolt now days in this sector. Re.gearchers have tried to identifi the reasons behind the labor disputes in RMG sector and the role BGMEA' Industrial Police &Labor [Jnion in dispute settlement procedure. There are nxany reasons behind the labor disputes, but dissatisfactiott from existing salary & bonus, delayed in salary payment, mandatory overtime, long working hours, leave without pay, unsofe working environment, physical abuse of .femctle worker,s, tttainly causes the labor disputes in RlutG in Bangladesh. The standard Jbr rlisptne sertlement procetlure should be as per the "Labor Law Act - 2006". Researchers also triecl to Jocys on what role BGMEA, Industrial Police & Labor Union play to dissoltte the disputes in kMG sector in Bangladesh.en_US
