    Abstract
    This thesis delves into the promotional strategies employed by Urmi Group, founded in the 1980s, is a leading conglomerate in Bangladesh, specializing in textile manufacturing and readymade garment (RMG) production. With a workforce exceeding 16,800 employees and a daily production capacity of 150,000 apparel pieces, the group has established a robust presence in the global textile industry. In 2024, Urmi Group reported an annual turnover of approximately US$ 250 million Core Business Segments Textile Manufacturing : Urmi Group's textile division, Fakhruddin Textile Mills Ltd., operates state-of-the-art facilities producing a diverse range of fabrics, including denim, knits, woven fabrics, and home textiles. The division is recognized for its commitment to quality and innovation. Apparel Production : The group's apparel division manufactures a variety of garments, including seamless athleisure wear, catering to renowned international brands such as H&M, Zara, Primark, Puma, and Decathlon. Notably, Urmi Group operates one of the largest seamless knitting facilities in Bangladesh, producing up to 700,000 units per month. Innovation and Technology : Urmi Group has been at the forefront of technological advancements in the textile industry. In 2023, Fakhruddin Textile Mills Ltd. received the 'Best Innovation – Apparel and Fashion' award at the Bangladesh Innovation Awards for its 'ERP Integrated RFID Based Inventory & Production Management System.' The group also earned an 'Honorable Mention' for its 'Seamless Garments' innovation. These accolades underscore Urmi Group's commitment to integrating cutting-edge technology into its operations. Sustainability Initiatives : Urmi Group is dedicated to sustainable practices in its operations. The group has implemented an anaerobic biological effluent treatment plant (ETP) and rooftop solar panels at its facilities. In 2024, Urmi Group committed to planting 50,000 trees to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and promote environmental sustainability.
