dc.description.abstractThis thesis investigates the training and development practices within the Bangladesh Army, shedding light on its strategies, challenges, and outcomes. Utilizing a case study approach, the research combines qualitative and quantitative methods to comprehensively analyze the training and development landscape. Primary data is gathered through interviews with key stakeholders, including military personnel and training experts, while secondary data from academic literature and official reports supplements the findings. The analysis delves into various facets of training and development, encompassing curriculum design, instructional methodologies, technology integration, and evaluation frameworks. Furthermore, the study explores the unique challenges faced by the Bangladesh Army in optimizing its training programs amidst evolving geopolitical contexts and technological advancements. The findings underscore the importance of tailored training interventions aligned with organizational goals and contemporary military requirements. The thesis concludes by offering insights into the efficacy of training and development practices within the Bangladesh Army and proposes recommendations for enhancing effectiveness and adaptability in the face of dynamic operational landscapes. This research contributes to the existing body of knowledge on military training and development while providing practical guidance for policymakers, military leadership, and training professionals seeking to optimize human capital development in defense institutions.
