The research highlights how Grameenphone Limited’s People & Organization (P&O) department strategically manages recruitment, training, performance appraisal, and employee welfare to support the company’s business objectives. This case study explores the induction practices of Grameenphone Limited ., Bangladesh’s largest telecom operator, with a focus on the strategic role of Human Resource Management (HRM) in onboarding new employees. As a leading employer in the country, Grameenphone Limited recognizes that effective induction is critical for employee engagement, productivity, and long-term retention. The study outlines the structured onboarding process at Grameenphone Limited, which begins with pre-boarding and extends through formal orientation, department-specific training, mentoring (buddy system), and continuous feedback.
