The research opens by examining the historical origins of the war, tracing it back to the early 20th century and the establishment of the state of Israel in 1948. The examination delves into crucial international legal texts such as the Belfour Declaration, the United Nations Partition Plan, and subsequent resolutions to investigate their importance and relevance in the context of this enduring conflict. The study explores the impact of international organizations, specifically the United Nations, on shaping the legal structure of the Israeli–Palestinian conflict.
