dc.description.abstractThe Israeli–Palestinian conflict is a protracted and contentious issue in contemporary global politics. This paper analyses the conflict’s developments within the framework of international law. The paper delves into the complex legal elements underlying the war by scrutinizing various legal instruments, historical occurrences, and evolving geopolitical considerations. The research opens by examining the historical origins of the war, tracing it back to the early 20th century and the establishment of the state of Israel in 1948. The examination delves into crucial international legal texts such as the Belfour Declaration, the United Nations Partition Plan, and subsequent resolutions to investigate their importance and relevance in the context of this enduring conflict. The study explores the impact of international organizations, specifically the United Nations, on shaping the legal structure of the Israeli–Palestinian conflict. Significant legal issues such as the legality of Jerusalem, the rights of Palestinian refugees, and the legitimacy of Israeli settlements are thoroughly examined within the context of international law. This paper analyses how human rights laws, humanitarian law, and the concept of self – self determination might help to address the long-standing human suffering and rights violations that have characterized the conflict. The work explores the challenges of applying legal principles in the Israeli-Palestinian context and the role of international courts in dealing with reported violations. Throughout the conflict international conflict, international law continues to evolve, and diplomatic efforts to resolve the dispute adapt to changing conditions. The paper offers a comprehensive and nuanced perspective on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, emphasizing the substantial impact of international law on its past, present, and future progress. Emphasizing the need of possessing a well informed and comprehensive understanding of the legal components is vital in achieving a peaceful and equitable resolution to this persistent issueen_US
