    Abstract
This report documents my internship experience at A.H Khan & Co. Ltd., a transport and logistics support company in Bangladesh. During the internship, I served as a Sales Auditor, responsible for auditing sales records and validating client information for one of the company's key logistics support clients. The report examines how Management Information Systems (MIS) principles were applied in practice across these audit functions. The central theme of this study is the intersection of MIS and sales auditing — specifically how information systems tools, data management practices, and digital workflows support the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of sales and client data in a logistics context. The report explores the company's information infrastructure, the data flows involved in client validation, the audit methodologies employed, and the challenges of operating in an environment where digital and manual processes coexist. Key findings indicate that MIS-driven approaches — including database-supported client verification, spreadsheet-based audit trails, and structured data reconciliation — significantly improve the reliability of sales records and reduce client information discrepancies. At the same time, the study identifies opportunities to further leverage information systems technology to automate validation workflows and strengthen audit reporting. The report concludes with targeted recommendations for enhancing the information systems supporting sales audit functions, and reflects on the profound learning outcomes of applying MIS knowledge in a live organizational setting.
